SEPARATION

Many couples decide to separate but, for a variety of reasons, do not proceed with Divorce. Even so it is still essential to consider all the legal implications of separation, with the help of a suitable solicitor.

Very often a formal Deed of Separation is advisable, in order to record any agreement regarding financial matters, or arrangements for children.

It is certainly not wise either to leave important issues unresolved, or to rely on informal agreements, which are almost certainly unenforceable.
